Belo Tomas Morato

i was excited to go to Belo cos i missed the last open house event- and the free treatments- most of all i wanted of course to see hayden being doc hayden and hear him talk as a doctor.

i thought i was going to be late cos i stayed a little too long at the gym. (sarap kasi mag kape) i had pa to hurry cos mac said sasapakin nya ako pag diako nagpunta and that he was waiting for me. -outside belo. waaah mac sorry! I arrived a little after six, fortunately, the event hasn't started yet. :)

BLOGGERS? the guard asks. but i hear: BURGERS?! (kasi gusto ko ng burger) then mac answers, opo bloggers. then i wonder why he's asking if we are bloggers. we were asked to sign the attendance, but our names weren't there.yun pala it was on the 'other' guestlist.

we went to the second floor, and thats when i realised that this was a blogger event! waaah. me and mac talk about being blogger wannabes. then chiqui calls. sayang she can't attend cos she's still taping for magdusa ka.

the event starTs and we had to introduce ourselves, i felt intimidated. waaah. these people are serious bloggers. i blog to whine!

hayden kho jr. md. starts talking, and i get distracted from my blogger wannabe thoughts. eager na to listen and learn about BEAUTY AND THE BEST.

in beauty and the best, we were given a lowdown on the services of the belo medical group. i think everyone is familiar with the surgical treatments such as rhinoplasty, tummy tuck, breast augmentation, blepharoplasty and liposuction. i suppsose, when people hear belo, they immediately think retoke, plastic surgery,vanity. but i guess most are unaware that belo offers non surgical treatments too. and i reckon 80% of their services are non-surgical!

dr.vicki belo also dropped by and told us the history of belo. i've googled dra. belo before (nung nagsimula na akong maging showbiz), so im a little familiar about belomed's history, but hearing dra. vicki herself talk about it was i guess... mesmerizing. it was also an eye opener. i felt as if i could listen to her all day long! ang galing niya. :)

i suppose for some people, belo is pang artista lang, or for people who are not contented with their natual na look and would resort to retoke to make themselves look better. i admit that i was one of those people. and then i got to showbuSiness. met people who have been "touched by belo." ive also been moving out of my boyish self and i have thought of having this and this done to improve myeslf and the way i feel. nawala na my stereotype thoughts about belo. i think there's nothing superficial about this.

parang ano lang, you have cholecystitis, its painful and you have to have it removed.
so now i want to be touched by belo too! :D

belo is touching the masa too, with flawless and the belo essentials. i reckon they're also about to launch the IKE and NENA BELO Foundation. created for the education of needy children, rehabilitation of burn victims, surgery of
children with cleft palate, and environmental awareness.

The foundation is geared towards the physical, mental and social beneficiaries. Its
belo's way of giving back. They want to be part of sharing peoples lives by giving them a sense of value and satisfaction.

i think this goes to show that belo's beauty is not just skin deep :)

after that overwhelming talk, we had time na to try out some of the treatments such as fraxel, visia, power peel, tenor and my favourite: body sculpt!

we went to packo's grill, for dinner, more fun, talk and picture taking sessions. :)
